You don't have to. But most wise is to put 500 miles on the odo before changing anything. Than you have enough time to check the car for bugs.

If you would encounter a problem the dealer won't react the same if they see your car is being returned with big wheels. They will like to think it's your way of driving etc. that broke the car.

Yup. And today I checked my tire-pressure because my profile wasn't totally used, it made a loud scrubbing noise and I encountered some serious lift-off oversteer while cornering . It was 2.5 on the front and 2.6 at the rear. Way to high. So I changed that to 2.0 for the rear tires, and 2.1 for the fronts. And HELL that made some difference ! No more oversteer and much more heavy steering.
But I have to check my toe-out. I think it's currently in a neutral position which makes the car a little nervous on small dike-roads. I was advised by a suspension-professional to adjust the toe-out to 1,5 degrees.
So that has to be changed.

And it was a great day to cruise a bit. I've enJOYed it :-)

Nice Aaron ! Keep us updated.

Toe-out has to be changed by a garage or so. They have the right stuff for it.

Congrats !

Aaron, offset is ET32 (original ET 35).

My normal idle RPM is 600. All the cars I've owned before did 750 RPM. I think it's normal.

Did you buy a new Polo ? Why didn't they fill her up ?

Most dealers totally fill up a new car, and fill up half when it's an occasion.
