So brought these the other day on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-POLO-4-FAC ... 5647466aba but i've got no idea what bulbs are gonna be the best, said H7 on the listing but theres all sorts of H7s!!!
Also says on the listing that Rings are fitted with user-replaceable incandescent bulbs, so rings light up yellow, not white. So can anyone reccomend any white bulbs for those aswell?

any help would be appreciated,
Cheers, Jake.

Looked at these and they looked real dodgy. H7 is h7 you can fit anything but from what I can work out this will mean having 6 h7 bulbs in these and 2h1 bulbs it's insane was also worried about the fact they mentioned a relay to take it from h4 which the 6n2 is not this was the 6n I'd of preferred to pay the extra or the same actually for the fk's :/

Yeah, they look good and were cheap though soi just thought f**k it!! Okay well any idea what a good H7 would be for them? I'm baffled by all the types on ebay, different wattages and stuff, i'm clueless aha. How come you reckon 6? surely 4? the indicator bulbs were supplied thankfully, yeah i dunno, hopefully they are just supplied as an extra!!

Well there's two rings per light which is 4? Unless one does both rings, then two for dipped beam. Let me know how you get on with these personally id want some blue bulbs rather than halogen yellow. Good place to look us autobulbsdirect.co.uk

you'll need 4 h7 bulbs, 1 is used for the normal headlight and 1 is used for main beam. so 4 for both sides. there is then 5 little leds in each ring which are included, so there are 20 of them overall not sure what leds they are though :?

Okay sick, yeah, two bulbs per light. Anyone know what the differences between these two are, asides from one being LED and one not?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H7-55w-SUPER- ... 415d3a06b8

These are the lights, look pretty good Image

Also, took the backs off today to have a look and theres the two wires and connectors for the bulbs then another wire with connector which i cant seem to find a home for (far left) it runs towards and i would presume into the socket at the bottom left corner of the light (top right in the pic). Any ideas?

Here are some other little mods, carbon badge inserts and VW fogs on my new bumpers which are waiting to be put on.

One last thing! Pretty important too! My cars spluttering, down on power and ive got a warning light, similar thing happened to my mates nova and it was his fuel filter. Looked up the warning light and it said the catalyst can be damaged by misfires. Heres what it is, ignore the ABS light haha

So anyone else had anything similar/the same or know what it could be? I'm thinking it must be the fuel filter, fingers crossed as its a cheap easy job!!

okay, errrrr, well:
-its not constantly spluttering, will be alright for a bit, then go after about 5 mins of driving
-i can just about stop it from spluttering if i keep it below 2000 revs
-down on power very slightly when its not spluttering and hugely when it is
-on tickover it sounds like its struggling
-when stationay and reving it rather than a smooth build up its juddery

thats about all i can think of!

Problems all sorted!!

Change or fuel filter and sparks, running like a dream now. New bumpers on aswell as fogs and angels. Problem being i didnt expect the fogs to get as hot as they do and the vinyl i put over them got a tad warm and started smoking hahah

Pics soon
