Emm, you can if you have the right equipment. The mechanic in the VW dealer where i got my car said just to call up to his house and he'd do it for me

Can't wait to see the 'after' pics of your Polo!
I strongly recommend having the front wheels professionally aligned after the new springs have been fitted, can save you from buying new front tyres every 5,000 miles...

Oh why would they need re-aligned? :s

Because, for starters, you'll need to unbolt the lower balljoint from the suspension arm and those holes have clearance for adjustment. Virtually impossible to get them bolted back 100% identical (camber might change). Plus the change in geometry can affect the toe-in/toe-out.
I moved to the Polo from a long ownership of Renaults, and they never needed realigning after lowering. Therefore it was a surprise to me that I'd almost worn out my fronts in a few thousand miles after lowering the Polo...

Also i've noticed since i've got my springs fitted the wheels have negative camber. There isn't a huge difference but makes the car look sportier

Should drop a wee bit more over the next week or so shouldnt it? Its fine tbh, as soon as i got in after they where fitted i thought my town was experiencing an earthquake but tbh its not even that bumpy or hard. Only thing i've to be careful with is the roadbumps, potholes and dodgy drives like my own, mudflaps are constantly scraping driving in and out :/

I had the same problem, but luckily there are shorter mudflaps available from VW.
6R0 075 116 (front), 6R0 075 106 (rear)

The short front ones are about 5cm shorter than the long ones.

Was thinking about changing to the smaller mud flaps but just not wanting to spend the money on them atm, they dont annoy me too much atm anyways, i can do without getting smaller ones. Would much rather have the money for another things :L
