Nice work mate but I think it looks better without the tinted protectors in all honesty

The tint spray looks like it kills the light but as you said least you can easily remove them :)

clearly some sort of resistance issue by the sounds of it, I'm sure i had this problem but i can't remember how it was all solved :/

could be because they weren't error free? LED's will have a lot lower resistance i believe than a standard bulb so will throw all timings out comet o think of it i think

Cheer Ben :-) I've kinda got the situation in hand I've had a few ppl tell me I need an led relay to sort this and someone thinks they've got 1 so I'm just waiting to here back from them :-)

Doubt I'll need the bright bulbs now as I've cleaned up the indicators so they not black no more lol
I'll see how goes.

That's all for now, but I've just had a nice overtime payment so hopefully have some winters on soon (so can refurbish the RX2s) and hopefully source myself a new but cheap front bumper

Have you found its made much of a difference when reversing with regards to lighting things up
My car I'm using ATM whilst my polo is off the road has really bright reversing lights...probably better then it's headlighs lol which comes in handy for manovering around my driveway at night
I could do with the polo giving off a bit more light if it's possible

Thanks bud :-) and you ain't the only 1 to say that lol I'm glad I took them back off! Looked nothing like I hoped.

You mean the LED reverse light? I hoped it wasn't goin to look the same colour as the paintwork lol but in comparison to the old bulb.. I love it lol

I couldn't answer that sorry Verity :-( I'm lucky to have a streetlight right on my doorstep so haven't noticed how bright it is yet.
I'm certain you could pick up a bulb with more LEDs than the 1 I bought, in theory they should be brighter.
I tend to use the number plate lights as they're really bright and shine right on the floor lol.

Yeh it does mate looks cleaner!

I agree, I'm starting to regret doin it now :-p lol

What's next?? Hmmm

Got front upper & lower strut brace on the way
G60s for winter while I either hunt down some 15x7j(ish) Borbet Ts or refurb the RX2s with polished rim and some shade of grey centres
New front bumper as the crack just looks horrible! And maybe smooth the little number plate recess on the bump strip and move number plate just below the bump strip
New grills to go with the bumper cos few clips are broken
Smooth over door handle locks
Get bodywork touched up while getting things painted
Upgrade door speakers
Get all the door pillers etc done in suede maybe roof lining at some stage

The list is forever growing at the min mate :-p
