StewyL's 6n2 GTI Now With Air
Re: StewyL's 6n2 GTI
MOT due tomorow so took the OZ's off.
Re: StewyL's 6n2 GTI
How much did the roller pull the arches out by, i need to do something with mine as im also running 8j on the front but with a zero offset
StewyL's 6n2 GTI
100 quid for the fronts. He has pulled them quite a bit they are along way from the tyres now. But arch enemy didnt sort the real issue which was that front bumper bolt. Does yours scrub there too?
Re: StewyL's 6n2 GTI
Nah i havent had that issue with mine, i think it may be because of the amount of stretch i have on the fronts, ive got a 165/50 on them so the tyre tucks under the arch just lol
Re: StewyL's 6n2 GTI
The old girl flew through the MOT! (Test station had a lovely brand new pit, But i was still to low for the break rollers!! ABS kept cutting in!
Ive put the BBS'S back on and put the coilovers up slightly! And the thing handles like an animal now! Bit like its on rails
Why am i bothering with stupid lows and wide shiney wheels!!!

Re: StewyL's 6n2 GTI
Nice one dude, nothing like a full 12 months MOT stamp
Decked with shinny rims is the look everybody wants when it comes to the VAG scene but in reality with today's roads it is totally impractical.
I would advise a sensible ride height and then take it down lower for shows etc, that's the beauty of coilovers you can pick and choose your desired height.

Yeah i sort of agree mate. Cant see the OZ's staying now!
Just also ordered a T4 Cruise control stalk!
So hopefully that will also be a good outcome!

Re: StewyL's 6n2 GTI
Its all in and working! Took me and mate about hour and half to fit!
Its actually really easy to do! The ECU plug was a bit of a pig and you have to be very careful with the purple clip!
Apart from that it works a treat!
