Hi Amig,

You have a pm with my email address.
Contact me and tell me if you have xenon headlights, or if it's a polo bluemotion with halogen headlights.
Necessary to have the light sensor.
If you send me a VCDS autoscan I will tell you everything you need to know. Thanks.

best regards,
Fernando

Hi ciclo, I ordered a set as suggested on the Dutch Polo forum with the light sensor, rain sensor, auto sensor and auto dimming mirror. Could you create a long code to activate the sensors? I have VCDS available. Thanks!

Hi iichel,
Yes, no problem.
But if you will not buy my wiring for automatic lights better ask on my topic.
Here: http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 03#p459956
In my topic, send me vcds auto-scan and I will send you a corrected long coding.

Do you have wiring automatic lights? :)

Hi Ciclo

My name is Naas I am from South Africa., I drive a Polo 6R GTI with Xenon headlights. I presume that is has the light sensor by default at so other position by there is no sensor by the rear view mirror.

Will the retro fit work for me? i have no clue how to check the BCM on my car

Hi ciclo,

I've bought a 6R TEAM-Edition from '11 with halogen headlights and integrated DRL (not beside the fog lights), which is more the permanent headlights function. The rain sensor is working very well ;-) To upgrade to autolight and CR/LH your full kit and cable set is necessary as well as a BCM higher than my one (which is 6R0937087H), as far as I understood. And some work on the wires and coding of the new BCM.
What are the relays for? High beam and fog lights? Will it work with the permanent headlights?
And if I want a real DRL new fog lights and cables to the BCM are necessary?

How can I contact you to buy a set?

Regards

Hi Naas,
Your Polo GTI has BCM correct if you have factory xenon headlights.
If you have a sensor like this...

...all will work correctly.

If you do not have this sensor my full kit will not work.
Also, you need cable VCDS to properly code the BCM. I will send you the correct encoding once you send me a full auto-scan of your GTI.

When you replying I send a private message with my email address for you to contact me. Then I explain the whole process buying, it's very easy.

Hi roolix,

Everything you say is correct.
Your 6R TEAM-edition need a new higher BCM, the cable set for adaptation, and full kit automatic lights.
The two relays are for the high beam and fog lamps.

Once you have made adaptation of cables, its permanent daytime running lights in the headlights no longer will work (this is not possible). You need a daytime running lights integrated into the fog with new wires.

I am sending you a private message to contact me at my email if you are interested.
Kind regards
Fernando
