Fitted my new Bosch aero wipers. Look alot better than the ones I had before and finally have a set that doesn't squeak. Hopefully will last a bit longer....

Here's a couple of pics of the Polo after a decent clean at the usual location (Bluewater), showing its current (standard) stance, different colour calipers and drums and new wipers (Bosch aero).

Looks really tidy mate, Good mixture of subtle modifications whilst still keeping it fairly OEM.
I think the only thing I don’t like is the Hella clear rear lenses, I think I prefer the standard lenses but that's just me being hypercritical.
Car looks quality Deffo one of my Favourite 6N2's on here

To be ohnest I would rather them more smoked out to hide the clear lines in them. I also love the the clear hellas sprayed red but I'm going for a black/blue look. Would love to get it lowered again but on better suspension but got a lot of things to spend the money on first.

No problem mate
I think the Hella's would look smart in either Red or Black to be honest.
Have you thought about tinting the rear windows to combine with the blue/black theme?

Cheers fella.
I just levered it out with a screwdriver. Its held in by a couple of spring clips. Then slotted the new tinted one in place and resealed it with black silicone. Check through my thread mate, should have some pics of them both out so you can see what I mean.

Obviously black on mine. Quite tempted to do it now. I'm not really a fan of tinted windows. I cant stand ''the van'' look! I wouldn't mind a light smoke on all of them but isn't really worth it. I think if I was to heavily tint the windows I would also spray the wheels black or replace them for a black set.6N2 GTI 00 wrote:No problem mate

I think if you go for a light tint like mine then you will be fine, with yours being a 5 door too you can easily avoid the Van look.
It was £90 to do my 3 rear windows and I think it does make a nice change to the look of the car.

Your right. I do like your tints . Might be something for the future if I hold onto the car for a while longer.

Ideally a Mk5 GTi or ST or Octavia VRS. Something like that but getting married next year so all depends on funds etc. Until then i'll just have to tinker with my Polo
