Yeah mate adds a nice touch to your already awesome interior
How much will it cost to get them done in leather?

Yeah all rears mate as the fronts don't come down the front of the seat if you get me??

I was gona go for two middle longer/flatter ones for the rear out of a mk5 golf but decided to keep them all the rear mk5 ones....

Unsure on what to have quilted like the Middlesex only or sides or all plain????

I wanted scirroco ones but they didn't have any smashed up ones and I went to Vw in Chelmsford and they wanted £190 quid for one headrest without the trim lol......

So for £100 for four it's a nice neat mod I have found and the color is the same as the oem gti seats so an easy mod really.....

On other news AMD have got back to me and this is what they have said....

Hi Craig

Thank you for your enquiry.

Our AmD remap will give you gains of about 8-10bhp & the same lb.ft of torque gain. This will be sharper throttle response & better mid range pick up. The remap will be a chip change on yours rather than an OBD port flash. This should get rid of your engine mangemant light that is on, but you may require a mil eliminator due to the year of your Polo.

With the other mods, gains shoudl be higher, at round 10-12bhp maybe more. If you run the car on good fuel Tesco 99 or Shell V Power then gains will be higher.

Price of the remap will be £299inc vat & rolling road time. The map would take 3-4 hours.

If I can be of any more help please do not hesitate to contact me.

CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!

lol its scary money for headrests right! i wanted the rear headrests from the new golf (the L shaped ones). took some out of a car jack borrowed from VW and put them in mine to see what it looked like. loved it and decided i deffinatly wanted them. got all happy. then they turned out to be about £190 each too. couldnt believe me eyes!! still makes me weep at the thought! all i could think was buy the 2 i needed would come to more then the cost of my 1st car! eep.

£100 for all 4 was deffinaly a good buy! well done

Trottagti wrote:You know what size I need to order mate????? He said I need to know the arb size???? Can't remember what it is...!
I'd give alexperkins a shout, as he's more or less a walking talking etka manual  I remember phil having to re-order the kit as the standard kit his supplier did was not the right size, but we got there in the end.

I'm actually in need of a mil eliminator, especially one that doesnt involve me cutting into the wires of my £90 bosch lambda sensor :P

I am also interested to see what you get from the remap, was going to have mine done last year but when they said the chip needs changing, i got put off.

Probably still would be put off as well to be fair

Still, will be interesting to see what you gain from it and if its noticeable.

Standard Re-map is around 10bhp for the GTI but with Craig's modifications the custom re-map should generate some decent results.
150bhp has already been achieved without Cams from a GTI engine so there's no reason why Craig cant get something similar
