Thats the one mate. Back to almost standard. They've added on quite a bit to what they gave me (as expected) but i cant see it being worth that. Thats almost half of what the LCR cost me!

Its a very tidy example but yeah they are probably asking a little more than its worth (typical dealer)

How are you getting on with the Leon Cupra R then mate? I bet the power difference is like night and day

Its quality. 60bhp upto 222bhp. I had a CTR before my Polo so its simular to that but obviously different power delivery. Once it stops raining i'll go out and get some shots of it and post them up.

Nice one mate, I got myself a EP3 CTR about 5 weeks ago and absolutely love it
I'm a big fan of the LCR's and they do pull very well, certainly a little quicker than the Type R in a straight line.

Looking forward to seeing some pics of it :)
A lad I know had his LCR re-mapped a few weeks back, just a stage 1 Revo software and its now producing around 260-265 bhp which is very impressive

Yeah I had an EP3. Nothing for that price can get close to the scream a V-tech makes.

I would always be concerned though if other components could handle that hike in power. Very tempting though. But if you do that you may as well do a FMI, Induction & exhaust and it would be a lot more responsive and louder!

Yeah mate that VTEC rev range is so addictive, absolutely love it.
The downside to Honda's is the lack of creature comforts but I guess that’s to be expected with a Jap Car.

Got a few plans for mine but nothing outrageous, just a Tegiwa Air intake, Cat back exhaust system and few other bits & bobs

Are you keeping the LCR standard then mate?

Sounds like a good plan.

Well minus HIDs and stereo I think so. The hoses have all been uprated minus one which I may do. Maybe a Re-map next year. Gonna see how it goes until then. I've replaced a few standard parts to neaten it up in the mean time.

HID's are essential, especially if you cant get a set of genuine Xenon headlights.

If you do ever want more power then you have a whole host of parts to choose from, really good gains can be achieve from just stage 1 software.
