Cheers Daz. Yeh it's got a bit more presence to it now than it did previously.
Yeh picked it up today mate, perfect job. They touched up loads of niggly bits too which I wasn't expecting, and also gave me some spare paint so I did a few more earlier.
Took some pictures earlier also, as the Monos are coming off next week unfortunately. Will hopefully get them up soon.

Monos came off today
The Pepperpots are back on for now, also didn't time to clean the engine bay, so I took out the heat shield and polished it back up. After letting the car sit for a while and seeing it in full sunlight, I've noticed since the bodyshop there have been a number of swirls that have appeared. Obviously not as good at cleaning as they are painting! Gunna do a panel by panel machine polish some time in the future (Was planning on doing this anyway), hopefully the pics I took the other day won't show these too much.

Good idea with the paint Tim, just be careful as i'm sure you're aware it'll still be very soft. I was under the impression that the bodyshops were supposed to mop the bodywork after to ensure no defects?

yeh it won't be done for ages, i won't be driving the car for a month now to let the paint harden, as most of the new paint is on the front. then got the full frontal bra for motorway journeys.
I guess different bodyshops do different things. you can see it was just a case of a bad cleaning method, they're not deep, as the paints held pretty well since i polished it. i doubt they would've noticed they did it, as I didnt notice myself til it was in full sunlight, it looked great when i picked it up (all complete shade).

UPDATE.
Got some better, stronger spray adhesive for the roof, some black spray dye, and more fabric.
First thing was to remove the previous suede, then blanked off the handles alcoves and small sunvisor
I did it this way so the fabric went on easier, and I didn't have to spend £80+ on genuine black handles.
The end result is nice, roof looks alot smoother,
It's back in the car now, but still only have a macro lens at hand so can't get a proper interior shot.
I dyed one of the cream fabric trims also, has come out ok but I'm going to use general satin paint I think for a more consistant finish (plus the dye rubs off onto other things).
