What's the difference between the Hero and Hero 2?

I pressume the Hero 2 is newer and better?

There is actually not that much of a difference. The hero 2 is 11mp where as the 1 is 5mp. There are a few more shooting modes on the 2 and the lens is meant to be of better quality but watching stuff from both it is hard to see the difference. The 2 seems to draw in the light a little better.

Cheers Matt Hero 1 seems a bargain but I think i'll probably be kicking myself if I didnt buy the Hero 2 lol

There's really not much in it.

The 2 shoots has a high FPS mode but only in SD, so useless really.

The megapixel count doesn't really make a difference, especially with video.

I can’t justify spending an extra £100 on something which is essentially the same

For what I will use it for I’m sure the Hero will be adequate
Just ordered one now from Amazon

Can't wait for this. Have you got a youtube channel Ben? If so i will subscribe. I just posted up a quick little edit of me and 2 mates hooning around in their Starlet turbo's. One of the Glanza's is running close to 300hp with a TD04 conversion. Amazingly rapid for a 1300 My Channel name is mendi148 btw

Cheers Matt I will check out those video's tonight, those Starlet Glanza's are crazy little cars from standard but can easily be tuned to crazy power

I havent got a Youtube channel yet Matt but i'll be creating one today ready for when my camera arrives, previously my mate has uploaded vids for me on his account but its about time I got my own especially now I have a Go Pro
