Tiger Woods 08 is fantastic. I haven't really played it online, the single player challenges have kept me going for long enough already.

Certainly worth buying if you see it on offer somewhere.

Dee-vub wrote:Agree with alun, COD4 online is the bestthing EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Getting myself a ps3 in may, or might try and get one earlier :P Desperate for one! Only played it on my mates PS and love it and FIFA08, brilliant :D

Everyonehas to get there profile gamer tags on so we can add each other and have a UK-P community :D
Get it sooner, matey! We need a COD4 UK-P community, we'll take them all on

@ Darren: I have the 60GB model, and don't really stuggle with space 'cause I don't put music etc on it, but I was thinking GT5 Prologue might take loads of room lol. You can however upgrade your hard drive if you need to though :)

@ Redline: Yeh, I'm definitely watching out for any deal on Tiger Woods now :)

Gran turismo 5 prologue is now in my possession!

Doesn't look much different from GT4, until you really start looking! the scenery is outstanding, you get a real feeling of being on the edge of a cliff on one of the new tracks!

the in-car view is pretty good too, with alot of detail in the dash and even when you look back, you can see the back seats etc. attention to detail is excellent, for instance, going into a tunnel, it takes time to adjust to the lack of light, just like your own eyes would, and coming back out the tunnel is the opposite! very clever

gameplay is as good as ever, in the arcade they is even a drift trial, which i am finding unusual as the only game i've played with drift is need for speed, and the idea of that is to get the back end out as far as you can, whereas this isn't! :?

and then there is the multi player, very cool indeed. nothing like trying to thread your way through a mass of cars, smoke and dust from cars spinning out! :P

on a downside, even though there are a fair few cars avaliable, its still fairly llimited as the only way you can drive them is to buy them. (well, thats as far as i've found so far)

If Gran tursimo 5 is as good as this with the addition of car tuning, great selection of cars and tracks, its going to be awsome!

I was reading something earlier on another forum with a topic "You know you're playing COD4 online too much when ... " and I thought I should post some of the responses:

"I was sitting at my desk at work this afternoon, minding my own business, admiring the clear blue sky out of the window, when I noticed two men standing on the roof of the office block opposite our building, about 200 yards away, next to some scaffolding...

The first thing that went through my mind was to duck down behind my computer screen so as not to be spotted, and line up my sniper rifle scope for a couple of headshots!!!"

"You see someone fall over and shout 'Tango Down'....."

"when you go to get your wallet out in a shop and shout 'COVER ME' "

"when you place small boxes just outside each door in your house shouting 'PLANTING CLAYMORE' "

"when you get your company mobile bill in and realise that you have spoke to your mate for 2 hrs about cod4 even when we both talk via headsets whilst playing!!"

"when you see old barns or run-down houses in fields and start scanning the horizon and bushes for snipers. When you walk round corners and you instinctively move your forefinger to press L1, despite being at work."

". . . when you walk up a flight of stairs and you have to stop before you get to the top and check for claymores"

"When holding a balled up pair of socks on hearing a noise in another room your first thought is to 'frag out' throught the open doorway..."
