A standard GTI should pull 8.4 seconds to 60. If you look at Mouse Gti's video on Youtube it is exactly 8.4 seconds to 60.

There is a video on Youtube of a 6N2 GTI in germany and that pulls over 60mph in second gear, which I can only assume has been remapped and / or cams uprated. It pulls 0-100kmh in 7.5 seconds. Not bad eye

Mine will pull to just over 60 in second, something around 63?

I normally change at 7,000 rpm and its probably doing about 58 to 59 MPH, I dont push it any harder than that.

Cant seem to find that video of GTI, might of been removed not sure. I will keep looking though

Nice one, ill be off out in a couple of hours so ill take it right into the red and see what happens!

Should get 63 then hopefully, on a duel carriage way ofcourse

i couldnt time the 0-60 as there were roadworks everywhere but like i did 0-50 in like 8 seconds ... saw these guys in a mini cooper and also some guys in a saxo laughing at my car coz i got a big dent in the wing and the bumper paint crumbling off and when they saw me take off they wer like .. haha

On a slight upward climb I red lined at 63! I need to find a flat road haha.

I absolutely love that colour! Looks really nice and subtle

looking really good mate, that colour is very understated

not a fan of the golf3 interior tho sorry, i much prefer tidy standard cloth to worn old leather.
