am i the only one being picky here, but the gti vents are silver-ish in colour, not black
also, does it not look like it sticks ot a bit too far???????????

that luks beta than i thought it would!
is it easy to get the cables ect. through the heatin pipe?

though, im nearly certain it would be possible to fit just the vent and holder bit to the existing gti vent to prevent a poor colour match eh?
thus making it a perfect fit too?????
im still interested either way

I was under the impression it was going to be just the vent bit to save on costs.

Jeff i presumed it would be a matching vent for the GTi

Hi Jeff,
SWG are producting just the insert (see 85% finished prototype below) to fit in the existing 'silver-ish' GTI vent shell.
I'm told it would end up very expensive for SWG to produce the whole vent assembley.

Hi Guys,
Another little update....
(Extract from email)
The prototypes nearly finished I've designed it so it sits on 4 lugs placed on the ends of the slats, this enables it to locate in the correct position in the housing so it should be a simple case of taking the original vent apart removing the slats and slotting in the new insert.
All being well I might be able to do the tooling towards the end of next week, unfortunately due to Christmas being so close delivery before is looking unlikely.

MY DASH IS ALL OUT AT THE MO .JUST WONDERED IF WHEN I PUT IT BACK WILL I HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT AGAIN
