Not too sure about the track rod and end as my mechanic got them for me but I tried ringing round a few places for the hub and no one seemed to stock them` apart from VW. I know the feeling I’m on an apprentice wage it’s not good lol

paid for fitting as didnt have the confidence to take bumper off
turns out that the fitter had to butcher my orig light to fit the fk cos their adjuster wasnt working
now works but not 100% on elec adjustment via dash controll
hope this helps but im guessing not lol

I used the manual screw adjusters that came with the headlight, then had them levelled correctly at an MOT centre.

so basically wat u 2 said if wat i thought n e way.
used the old motors of my original lights to fit the angels which the lights do move up and down a bit but not as much as the standard ones did.... im thinking i might have to get the beam allignment done to but knowing me, i keep saying i will but prob wont.
i also got the leds the other day, theyre well small, but i suppose they prob would be considering where theyre going!! dur!!
i'll fit them saturday i think.

when u fitted ur leds in the angel eyes did u have trouble with them? i done most of them today had a bit of trouble with some not working but if i turned them round they worked fine. also i got one final one which dont wanna work at all, if i put the normal bulb in it works but if i put the led back in it dont wanna work. but i have noticed that the bulb holder seems to not be the same as the others inside and the small bits that connect on the led's are different on the leds to the normal bulb.
i think wat i said makes sense.

Its normal for them not to work until you turn them round, this is because the power supply hast to be connected the right way round for the led’s to work. As for 1 not working test the led in another bulb holder, it may be that the contacts inside the holder are out of place.

i thought that. can u get those bulb holder bits as replacements do u know?
i gave up playing with the last led so put the whole unit back on the car and some of the others went out so im guessing they arnt connected properly. might have another look tomorrow if i get a chance if not maybe in the week in the evening or next saturday.

Kipper..if u have the same leds as in luke's pics (little circuit board type) i had the same problem.
Solved it by carefully closing the contacts inside the bulb holder (magnifying glass jobby

) with a tiny screwdriver as the leds arent as thick as the standard bulbs and dont always make a good contact

Sounds like there not making a decent contact in the bulb holder. I slightly modified a few of my holders with fine long nosed pliers as the contacts where to tight to easily accept the led. However the holders are very delicate I managed to split one in half, so be gentle don’t stress the plastic part too much.

also if u very slightly round off the corners they are easier to insert without touching the solder bits
i used the mrs's nail file thingy lol

i was gonna get some soldier and put a bit on the led to see if i could get it to connect properly as it looks like one of the connections isnt connecting properly due to some metal being broken so im gonna have another go next time i got some time of.

Can you not use some fine nose pliers to bend the bulb holder contacts into place instead?
