161hp - 250nM
now i have airfilter and exhaust,
22nd august i will go again on Dyno, i'll let you know what it did.
Today i went back!
result was a bit disapointing...
167.7Hp and 254.9nM (140.3WHp)
Before i had 161Hp and 250nM(133WHp)
so i gained 6Hp and 4nM from milltek and airfilter.
i think the true gains will show when it's chiptuned.
my A/F mixture was verry good also
anyhow i don't care that much for figures, the car goes well, healthy and strong, thats what important for me

Is that just a cat-back Milltek mate or turbo-back?

A comparison between the two dyno charts (if you can post them) would be interesting to see how the power curve was affected by the new exhaust on the entire rev range, not only the max power output.

i have a Full milltek system on it, turbo back, with sports-cat.
i also have a dynochart with the full stock output and the recent output on it, so it's easy to compare.
i will try and post it tomorow

what you had done?? what map??
ive got a pipercross panel filter
miltek turbo back exhaust with sports cat
AMD stage 1 remap
forge 007p DV
and the forge turbo intake pipe
does service light beeping count for anything
theyve offered me a free re-run on the dyno when the weather conditions are a bit more settled as it was piping hot on the day it was roaded so im just waiting to get the service done before i get RR'd again. I didnt realise my car hasnt been serviced since it had its first one done at like 8000 miles i think? im now on 26!!!!! Fell like a right pillock keep forgetting to get it done, should be done this week hopefully mind.

200bhp with those modifications and Stage 1 map isn't too bad? I don't think it is anyway. Get a FMIC and Stage 2 and you should be around 225bhp?
What were your torque figures mate?

Looks good.
As i can see there are about ~10NM gained on most of the rev range - between 2700-3200rpm and the same above 3800rpm.

posted a while ago regarding my stage 1 225.8bhp i am going to try and get a copy of my print out up! Im looking at a milltek turbo back and full induction. Has anyone gone down the route of cams/pistons? good gains? also saw throttle bodies mentioned somewhere! Just looking to get a result for a car already driving brilliantly! Upon research and chatting to a VW technician instructor apparently when cars leave the factory they are set up to a set spec but obviously human error or whatever some leave better than others.
This was mentioned at my dyno run that they cant believe it was a flat 150 before it was flashed! Ideas??
Still im smiling every time i drop a gear! Surely thats what its all about!?

not every dyno is the same, some give more than others, and others may give less.
but most of them are about right nut it can happen.
and it can also happen that some leave better from factory, and it also does alot how you drive it from the begining
verry good results BTW!!

haha yeah driving style might come into it. I dont rag her by any means but they are designed to be driven. Attended a local meet today with some nice cars there incl. new mk6 gti and gtd and they were impressed with the figures. But i guess when these things happen theres all sorts of variables that even the blokes operating the dynos dont know about. hmm.
Decided i need some h&r in my life tho!
