Ha ha yeah could do but need the rears occasionally. But I agree they should have harnesses really.wackojackso wrote:Yeh the red stitching is a good match and what with the car being red it looks good, get rears re-trimmed and have someone stitch 'RECARO' in them to, then it will look as though it was meant to be, that or take the rears out and add some harnesses?Endi_GTI wrote:Not sure yet. They are not that much darker than the standard ones. Depends on the light. The red stitching is the same. Think ill leave it for now and see how funds gowackojackso wrote:cheers....and are you leaving the rear seats as is or are you going to get some trimmed in black so it all matches?

Re: Endi_GTI's GTI

Re: Endi_GTI's GTI
Just went straight in mate. They have seat runners for a mk2 Ibiza which im sure you know is very similar to the 6N and 6N2. So took a gamble and it paid offalexperkins wrote:Did they fit straight in or were some adjustments needed?
And got them from Canterbury Bradley. Bit of a trek from Plymouth but glad i made the effort. The average MPG if anyone is interested was 29.8 mpg and that was mostly motorway driving. Can't really complain to much at that
Re: Endi_GTI's GTI
Nice dude thats wicked they both fit.
Canterbury is about 20 minutes away from me too.Quite a nice city.

Re: Endi_GTI's GTI
Seats look cool mate, I bet they are more comfortable than the standard seats too and offer more body support.
