Gutted about the clutch
I've just had mine replaced as it was about time. One of th best things I've done to the car, has made such a difference to how the car drives

Has any one ever thought of trying a different colour for the gti... for example taking all the red trims, gti badgs etc and making them a differen colour? or would that just look strange.....

I've done my front and back GTI badges black along with the VW and I think it looks rather nice against the silver, as for the trim I got all black seats and door cards cos I have the leather but if you was to do it you'd have to make sure you got every single bit of red and it'd look sweet I think :-) all stitching aswell as the door cards and seats

Yeh I thought it might... massive job though, was just playing around with ideas like changing it to another bold colour like green or blue... but that means like u said door cards stiching along with the engine rocker and all little bits lol If it was to happen I would have to be fully comitted and not just give up half way through lol

Yeh you'd have to do alot to change it! But tbh if you did it would look amazing, you'd have to make sure you picked a nice colour to go with the silver tho :-)
Blue would work well ;-)

Yeah tbh its just an idea and knowing my lazy ass if I ever did do it it would take ages hahaha

Get the coileys and a few other things out the way first... wrapping the roof, spacing the wheels sorting out the paint and making a new parcel shelf for some speakers ;)

Dunno I been looking around and just want the wheels to sit flush, thinks its about 20-25 on abck and 10-15 on front... what size are on yours?

and yeah pretty much, building the speakers and amp into the shelf itself and the Sub is already under the carpet in the boot lol

To have the amp in the shelf to would make it fairly hefty tho be pretty big n heavy!
Why not stick the amp under the carpet with the sub?

Mine are 15mm all round and I think they sit perfect with the borbets which are 7J ET35

think the standard bbs are a bit slimmer than that though aren't they? no idea how much lol

Well I only have a tiny lightweight mono amp ways nothing basically and don't want it to get ruined if something hits it in the boot... Just gonna have a play around with ideas when I get the time and resources...
