I'm main driver yep. Both my mum & dad are on it as well. It's cheaper to insure it not parked in a locked garage at night as well.
I've put 6k a year where last year in the clio I did 15k. Why pay ridiculous prices for the comfort of driving your own car.
I've got 2 years no claims and 2 years business. both go on different.

ahh i see fair enough mate, aha how funny i had a clio aswell before polo and covered 20k but only put 8k on insurance for polo think i will add some more addiontal driver's, love owning one of these at such a young age

I've heard from a few folk that if you add two females with experience it drops silly amounts! Try it out mate.

Not a gti owner but an rs4 owner at 21 and insurance was cheaper than a gti work that out lol

Insurance is mucked up

I know what you mean g_humm. I can insure myself on an S3, Scirocco R, 6R GTI, 9N3 GTI, 3.2 A3, TT S, All for the same price!! Bonkers!

The new GTi's are silly cheap to insure with them being automatic (no matter how you dress it up). When I was 18 it was £800 odd with just the years no claims. Was the same on the A1 185bhp and the Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.4 tsi.
