I've had but if time off work last few weeks due to work being quiet really good to get stuff done but I've had no funds back to work next week tho so I'm starting to do some serious saving to make some changes before the summer.

You had any news since the gearbox has been taken out?

Well i am Extremely pleased to say that yesterday my dad & I managed to get the gearbox in with not too much trouble had to wrap a strap around the box to get it back in as my dad had it balancing on his chest whilst under the car so I was holding the weight as best as I could!
The gearbox was rebuilt at Devong & Cornwall Transmissions, we have also put a new Sach clutch in and replaced the front passenger side wheel bearing the nut that was on the end was shocking and has worn part of the bolt away not good. Iv got some new speedos but having trouble resetting the milage as its lower then what mine is.
Trying to locate someone local with a vag tacho to change it. I took a couple of phots yesterday when i had the chance.

Just soo pleased she is fixed got to check the gearbox oil later as one of the bottles got knocked over so may not be able to drive it till after tomorrow cannot wait to get back in.
