Bad news on the splitter. badge looks good tho

I'm on with repairing it will be fine with a bit of fettling

Done a few bits and bobs fit another forge dump valve with blue spring fitted as a rung forge and they said the blue spring was correct for a remapped tsi. Also fit a ramair foam filter and along with the backbox delete sound great and pulls like a train! Did a vid but sounds better in the flesh

Is that filter a direct fit? Looks a lot better than the universal halfords one I have knocking around

Yes it's a perfect fit 75mm id £22 off the bay!

Did you have to put anything in the original pipe to stop it squashing down? Or is the end on the filter that attaches to the pipe solid?

No just push it in the filter and tighten just enough to clamp it.

Gave the car a full mint this weekend, after a 2 hour meeting at work with the Autoglym life shine main man on the new improved carbon shield life shine. Supposedly a car with it applied can withstand a 100 washes with neat tfr! All I know is at £474 retail to the customer it wants to be good
Anyway slapped some on at work yesterday and made some headlight brows from some dark brushed aluminium wrap I had kicking about.

Cheers! Now fitted 15mm spacers on rear and bought a roof spoiler which is at the paint shop at moment will be fitting soon!
