if you know how to do - you know the risk.

I know how to update software, and of course there is always a risk.
So you are talking about software Update overall?
But I was thinking that you mean “my case”...

My IC was updated!



And Direct TPMS now working!

But after update I got “backlight bug”



Backlight starts flashing... (probably because of light sensor)
To fix this bug it’s necessary simply deactivate NeedleSweep
However for me this is temporary solution, because I like NeedleSweep I am trying to find the problem in the eeprom.
I made eeprom dump before and right after updating.
So now I am busy with comparing... without success for now

Also I have noticed that after updating in the adaptation channels, Cruise control display become “Not available”.
And I have found Byte that activates this channel!



Adress 0x02D9 we need to change 01 to 81

Yes, indeed. We need to find correct Byte in the ECU to make Cruise Control Display work!
Thats the most difficult part!
But in the "chip tuners world" there are exist Damos and MapPacks files, with their help you can find correct address!
So we have some chance for success!

At the moment I have troubles with my Kess v2
It can’t read my ECU but other ECU’s it reads easily...
