Hi andrew send me a PM and i can get you in touch with my mate who did all my looms for my LED RetroFitAndrewBarnett99 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 2:15 pm Hello, I have a 2019 Polo GTI that was factory spec'd with the standard halogen lights, i am trying to upgrade them to the DRL LED headlights that come with the GTI plus. I have bought the genuine VW DRL LED headlights that were made in March 2019 although when i tried to switch them the cable connector did not fit. Any idea on where i can get an adapter for the connection and will i need to rewire the cables & recode for the upgraded headlights?

These lights have no aligning motor, so you have to align them using the screw they have. In my occasion, they were fine aligned and didn't have to align them. Took my car to an electrician, to check the alignment using the special tool for this job, but told me that they are fine.German_Fartbox wrote: ↑Thu Aug 19, 2021 12:59 pm Did you have to adjust the beam angle at all on either light? Mine are way out and no matter amount how much I try and adjust them they will not align. You see two horizontal lines in front of me where the two beams are out. I actually think the left light adjustment screw part is broken as it doesnt shift at all when I turn it either way.
Is there a second adjustment screw on them do you know aside from the one on top of the light?
Yeah I tried using the screw on top of the headlight, the right light does move but the left doesn't. Maybe it's faulty, I'll have to have another go at it.RS250PS wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 9:35 amThese lights have no aligning motor, so you have to align them using the screw they have. You should have in mind that the right beam is shining higher than the left (in left-hand driven cars), so that the left won't blind the coming drivers from the opposite direction.
