im feeling the "3 day weekend, 3 day revision, 3 days of not revising, followed by endless years of regret for not making the most of 3 day weekends...love"

melodramatic

was only £300 dirt cheap. Needs a new front bumper and bonnet, but then its good to go!

Engine mods. Im thinking a massive air intake, decat'd, short shift gearbox the works hehe. Gonna completely redesign the interior. I might even try and fit a 6n2 or even a 9n3 interior into the bugger. The 6n interior looks quite dated compared to my 6n2.

If i cant do that, it will be new dials, lights and switches all round.

Im probs gonna rebuild the engine depending on its condition. Its a 1.4l so a whole 1390CC - not half bad. Covered 100k so its getting a little aged.

Aswell as this, its gonna have a fresh coat of flash red paint :D

i know what you mean. Its hard keeping the girlfriend happy. I guess ive bought this as an investment.

its a project for those days when I have nothing better to do - i love working with cars especially engine mechanics. It fascinates me :D

Im one of those people who take something apart to see how it works - i dont read the instructions 8) (well sometimes but rarely hehe)

hehe i know what you mean about instructions, I never read them either, but i never like to touch something i don't know how to handle, so I generally get other people to teach me, so lazy!!

They dont mind though. I dont think. hehe

Ye getting people to teach is much better. Nothing better than learning how something works than just going for it and trying to work it out :D

Arghh the scrappy got the price wrong its £450 fingers crossed i can negotiate them down to £400. They quoted me for the wrong polo the idiots! The one im looking at now has a broken grille and thats it. Could be even better :D

I wish I had a garage. I'd be far more likely to play around with mine if i did. But I have to do all my car stuff out in the car park, and with in 5 minutes I have a swarm of kids, boys and men around me asking what i'm doing and why and what's broken and no, dont do that, do this and it just puts me right off!! When i was de-rustin my car there were times i thought id smack them one! dont get me wrong, a few are usefull, i would just be nice if i could do my own thin gin my own garage and then if i get stuck or want to know something I could go around and ask!

Ye i know what you mean. Most of my mods are done on the driveway hehe. So what is this car park - like a community kinda thing or what. Its confuzling :P

I really wanted to get a polo like yours, but they just arent out there when you want one at the price your willing to pay. If one came up for like £200 i would have snapped it just like that :D

Its more of a just, ummm, more engine and less electronics if that makes sense. Todays cars are all computer controlled - cars like yours are more just put your foot down and it moves. Not oh well lets think about moving shall we? Ok we will....

Am i making any sense :?
