Thats my opinion.

What discs would you say are the best 312mmgreypolo9n3 wrote:id rather get smaller brakes with better discs...that way you dont ruin the bodywork, it stays standard and who knows the wider arches might make it look a bit rally car...unless you like that ofcourse.

Thanks manquinnygti wrote:such a nice car!
This is what I was thinking.Mr Blobby wrote:That sucks
But for me that would be an easy choice, I'd get the arch work done as you've got the wheels you want and the breaks are VERY needed and when the arches are wider it will force you to get bigger wheels which again is need for grip and stuff

Just the front and by about 15mm wheels are 7.5x17 ET 33 but need to work with some floating discs and bells and mount the caliper back as far as poss to limit the spacer depth. As it is I woul need to use 25mm and I don't want to go gigg than 15mmMr Blobby wrote:Hmm well it all depends on how wide you need the arches... The rear arches on that one are maybe too wide and don't follow the curve of the bodywork. But if yours were more subtle but still wide that'd be good
How wide are your wheels, would you be widening all your arches and by how much?
Possible. I have trout of this too.Mr Blobby wrote:I seeeeee, 15mm should be fine, his in the photo doesnt look bad at all.
Would it look uneven if the rear isn't done as well do you think?
This does seem to be the easiest thing to do9N3 Turbo wrote: Possible. I have trout of this too.
Seems the easiest thing to do is remove the Brembos, revert back to 312's which good set of discs and pads.
Re the brakes no he doesn't have this issue so in theory if i had my arches done they would be 1/2" smaller than his front ones.benmkiv wrote:The guy above is running 9'a yeah, but surely he doesn't have the issue of clearing brakes. Is it the wheel offset that doesn't clear the brakes or wheel diameter? Think it would look okay if you got the arch work done on the rear as well otherwise I think it would look backwards. Also the spacers put more strain on the car, with driveshafts boxes etc and not sure wether I'd risk it with what you're running, personally but then surely with the Porsche wheels you ha adapters and spacers so may not be a problem?

If your selling your brembos and discs... I know a guy who would want them... Me ahaBut seriously if your selling I would defiantly be interested as I absolutely hate the standard breaks!!!!!
