Thinking I should just put a picture up as i may be building this up a bit much.
Clue - They are a common wheel in the VW scene but not many Polo GTI's are running them.

Top marks to Mr Blobby lolMr Blobby wrote:Maybe very obvious but...Rs's?
I am rubbish at keeping secrets so here they are not been built up yet hence the bolts are missing.
Problem is they have been ceramic polished and i'm worried it will be too much hard work keeping them looking this good.
I have 2 options
1. Use these as show wheels only
2. Powder coat the centres red
I have come to the conclusion that i'm not going to know without trying so going to build them up in their current form and see how it goes.
If they are a nightmare then ill have to strip them down and paint them up.

Or should i do them like this?

Friend of mine running these on his, ended up having to grind callipers down. Ouch. I'd powder coat red but I'm too lazy for The upkeep of polished.

Yay
thought it was a silly guess ha.
Well seeing as its a nice summer car maybe it is worth keeping it like it is and see what happens because its not going to get the worst of the weather and if you dont like it you can 'just' get them painted. I think personally i'd paint them just because the red is more pleasing to my eye

I have had loads of issues re clearance but have now sorted that out with some Tarox 6 pot calipers and some floating discs with bespoke bells.benmkiv wrote:Friend of mine running these on his, ended up having to grind callipers down. Haha my brain just keeps changing its mind on what I want with my car as I cant afford to do things yet so I just keep changing the plans
It's best to just do what you prefur as its your car
It will probably look more classy as they are but more practical with the red and add a bit of colour
