Was looking before xmas and its about 20k for a specced up one, stage 2 remap with a full apr exhaust (sounds absolutely nuclear) you're looking at around 4-4.2 0-60 @ 360-400bhp... Currently off work as had an operation and so glad i didn't do it before xmas.. thinking of starting a business myself so maybe within the next year/2 years?

Those ADV wheels though are 1050 a corner, Without rubber...

I've just spend the past hour and a half reading this thread and nothing else this I've seen done to a Polo 9 has come close to topping this car. Hats off to you bud, fantastic build you should be ridiculously proud (which I bet you already are). I do have one question though, how did you get the brake lights to look like that, I've searched and asked everywhere and nobody seems to have an answer. Are they aftermarket lights or just bog standard LEDs?

This is the image I'm talking about, the light is confined to the chrome ring, I've see this on many a Golf but not on any Polo.

Ok so bit of an update now Christmas is out of the way and the weather seems to be behaving.

Had a V-Band welded to the downpipe







The new brake set up is all sorted. Had a 4mm spacer made to off set the disc to help clear the callipers from the BBS



Discs need swapping around as they're on the wrong sides. Also need to send off all 4 calipers for painting.




Built up 2 of the wheels and had tyres fitted so I can test fit and check how they sit, poke/tuck wise




And decided I wanted to tidy the bay a little so going to tuck some wiring and remove the AC as I never use it so engine came out and started stripping back the tape etc off the wiring.



















Have removed the AC pipes but forgt to get pics. And as you can see I still have lots to do regarding the wiring.

Didn't use my SLR either just my Olympus camera will get some decent pics soon

Fitted the front brakes. Just need some cash to send off all 4 callipers for painting.

Thinking either Red, Black or Steel Grey.
