Absolutely stunning!!!

You have raised the levels of modding a polo 6n so high, that I don't even want to attempt to do anything anymore!

WOW!! that's some seriously amazing work! Well done!

I know youve probably been asked a million times but that 6n2 dash lookes the sex, makes it more up to date i think, how much modding is needed to do tht? thinking of doing it myself :)
and i prefer tht dash in the 6n than the TT as i suits it better i think, also u get a cup holder :P lol

cheers Jarno for creating such a great polo to look upto :) mines is coming slowly in ur footsteps

Cheers people!

Yes, get a lot of questions about the mk5 dash conversion. It aint that difficult mechanically, but getting the electronics hooked up on the mk4 system is a totally different story :( that's the reason why the conversion took so long

Also took some pic's recently when I had to drive the mk4 out of my garage for making some space to work on the daily driver mk2 in my garage:

The chassis was on the floor, and couldn't get the airride to drop more to get the wheel properly into the chassis

Looked kind of hot-rod'ish, with the front much lower then the rear

Visited the VW Outlaws event here in Holland last sunday, and had to hit the stage to collect the third price in the category "Best of Polo" :D

And yes, that tall geezer on the right looking down is me, and yes, I DO fit into that little mk4 Polo next to me  ^_^ (fits rather well actually ^_^ )

Did the car behind you with orange indicators get 2nd? I'm off back to the box in the garage for mine if he did!!

I'm 6ft 3in and have more leg room in my polo compared to my passat.

Hey Jarno love waht youve done with your car, very impressive! I have a 1998 1.6 8v 6n which I think is multi-point injection. I live in New Zealand and it is very difficult/expensive to get parts for my car. In fact I dont think Ive ever seen a modded VW let alone a modded Polo! Anyway you have inspired me to start doing some work on my car, I was wondering if youd mind if I asked you a few questions from time to time about where to get bits, fitting, etc? Thanks J
