@ spikeyg40, thnx m8 :D

NEW UP-DATE! (already? yes already!)

Just got back from Leiden, where I collected my new set of rims:

Image

Jep, they're original BBS Polo GTI rims, with 165-50-15 Bridgestone Potenza's, how German-style can rims be?

Image

Rim's already polished, and centrepiece is powdered in darkgrey from a Lupo (so original VAG-colour 8) )

Scheduled to be placed under the Polo this summer 8)

Cant' wait till summertime! :D

@ Si GTi: thnx m8! :D always nice to hear

UP-DATE
Last sunday I ringed up my spray-painter (is that how u call it in English? :? ), asked him when he could spray some stuff for me, he said tomorrow :D so last monday I brought my car over to his work, and he started working on it (after working hours of course  )

Here's some old pics:

What I've got done:
-welded on bad boy bonnet
-front bumper cleaned the tow-hole and licenseplate
-grill sprayed for colour difference
-sidepanels sprayed for colour difference
-mk5 roofstrips
-mk5 doorstrips
-doorhandles (also now I've got a keyless one on the passengerside)
-RS mirrors
-m-look sideskirts
-doors sprayed for colour difference
-back panels sprayed for colour difference
and then I ran out of cash, so the cleaned hatch will have to wait :(

Here's some pics of how it looks now:

I'm really satisfide with the end-result (eventhough my spraypainter misunderstood me when I said I wanted the chrome plateholder off, since I want one of those small US ones on the front)
What do you all think?

Thnx for the good remarks everyone :D Hope to get a better digital camera soon, the one I've got now aint that good anymore, pics turned out a bit blue, and managed to 'patch' them up a bit on the computer.

And yes, steelies look wefull right now, but the BBS aren't going under untill the weather clears up a bit. I don't want to risk getting al that salt (to de-ice the roads) on my polished parts :?

And for the interested, the dog's a mix of a Jack Russel (so it's a 'active' little thing) and a German shephard  dunno how they got it on, but it worked out and here's the result
