Lol i've still got the massive box in my room taking up space, I really should get them fitted  They seem alright though, can't complain for £155 8) Looking about 60-70mm for the proper look, Rob yours looks pimp but I don't think I could cope scraping on that TINY lip I saw in your thread! To give you a more accurate date its going to be around mid jan, possibly around the 11th. I still need to order that breather filter too, then I can use the BMC :D

Next plans really are to get some bits fitted, as I have a 6N2 GTI front splitter which I'm getting colour coded, along with the grill, both bumpers and a bit of rust repair. Hoping to get it all spic and spam for the bristol UK-Polo's meet

Plans sound good Daz, just remember to keep me updated!

Though im not a Huge fan of colour coded splitters, i have to admit they can look awesome Eg Alex's GTI. I'm sure your's will look just as awesome.

Yeah I'm looking forward to the splitter, something nice and chunky 8). I know a lot of people will think the splitter idea is odd, but its different so i'm always up for a bit of change...

Hope to get the coilovers fitted soon, atm it just looks like a tarted up standard Mk4

Well got a call from my mate who says he can do the coilovers on this weekend, so should be finally done!!!

Driving down to norfolk tomorrow, thought i'd show the grandparents the car so i've pumped up the RXii's, got the tyre sorted, polished the car megs 3 step, polished up the lip on the alloys, put the bonnet bra on, had a little mission with a side repeator which delayed me and made sure the car was ready for a 3 1/2 hour drive

Ok guys a few little updates here, the main being that the BMC is now fitted 8)

Got the cold air feed running into the bumper where the horn output is, the throttle response is increased and the sound is much nicer. Only downside is now I want to pump the throttle harder to hear more of the BMC tone! I also fitted the breather filter etc, so its all working fine. Coilovers should be going on tomorrow, so its all happening

Oh, and i've ordered some Philips Blue Vision H4 headlight bulbs to match my fresh new LED Sidelights :D

BMC:

Post by Polo96CL »

Ok guys, big update here!

COILOVERS FITTED  8)

Sorry not the best pics, and the car has yet to settle down probably another 10mm or so. I'm loving the look, tracking probably needs doing, so i'll get that booked in asap and the front needs to go down a bit more to equal the rear. Oh, and pics

Cheers guys, yeah front needs going down a tad just to equal out. Car is getting tracking and camber done friday, so trying not to use it too much as I know it wears down the tyres quickly.

On another note, i've picked up my 6n2 GTI front splitter which is going on soon. Will get some better pics as the ones i've posted do not show how nice it looks.

Got the philips blue vision headlights today, fitted them this evening. A significant improvement from the original headlight bulbs, worth recommending if you can't afford or unable to fit HID's into your lamps.

A couple of pics, poor quality camera at night
