Hi Guys,
Right SWG have sent me my Gauge+Pod to test, check out the results ...

I'm very very happy!
Once i work out how to re-size my photos to a more managable size i'll post up a how to DIY of how I done the install... it's very easy

To note - Unfortunatly due to the design/size of the vent it wasn't possible to manufacture with the vent slats open, the slats look exactly like the original, but too difficult to manufacture it with all the slats open aswell as trying to incorporate the gauge.
The top square part of the housing still allows air through to demist side window.

SWG say these should be ready for sale in January!!!

I know, when I gather my paitience i'll work out how to re-size them haha.

This is defo a nice little toy though, looks wicked at night too.
The 'spectrum' gauge backlight can be changed to 100 different colours... i'll just stick to vw-blue though

looks great is that the boost gage that will come witht the kit personally think it looks a little bit nicer when the guages have a silve bezel like on some of the pis of their website and will you be showing how to fit the boost guage or just vent piece

Right the prices are here! Big thanks to Steve @SWG for putting this into production.
SWG have put these cheaper than the retail prices on there website for forum members. I believe SWG have manufactured around 10 so far, and more are in progress and will be ready very soon.

# SWG have produced a vent insert which fits in your existing vent shell.
# I've been sent one and have fitted myself without any trouble (my photos on SWG site and below), Once fitted as you can see from the photos looks very nice indeed.

I've kept the pricing as keen as possible for forum members but due to the US dollar at the moment the gauge is more expensive than earlier in the year, so new stock is going to be a little more expensive.

Note-
I've found that the voltage running from the dash-lighting dimmer switch in the car is less than standard (even on max), and is not enough to illuminate the gauge properly. To solve this, I sourced power for the gauge illumination on another feed which turns on with the lights... so all works fine however the gauge illumination cannot be dimmed. I added a resistor in the gauge live wire (resistors included in the NSP Gauge kit) to match the gauges brightness with the polo dash.

Also (which I don't think is an issue because the gauge takes up most of the vent anyway),

Something i've come across though, check out NSP's website, they actually priduce a silver ring for the gauge. Perhaps ask SWG to see if one can be ordered??? ... http://www.newsouthperformance.com/spectrum.htm

so let me get this right dan all i have to do is order direct through swg for the vent pod and boost guage and request a silver bezel ring also

and they will give me the special price?

how do i pay tham and do they come direct from america?

i want to be ordering one asap think i may have a boost leak so will indicate instantly with the guage

I'll see if I can get some night time snaps up tomorrow.

Basically, SWG (Who are down in cornwall) have produced the pod. The 'New South Performance' Gauge itself may originate from the states, but SWG stock the gauges.... So basically you order and pay for everything through SWG.

The prices I have listed (Pod + Gauge) are for the package I have.
If your after a silver bezel ring in addition for your setup, SWG need to be asked whether they stock or can supply one... which may be at additional cost.
If you want an answer asap, the quickest way maybe is to call SWG in the morning to ask.... Ask for Steve.

SWG have said they may need to order extra stock of Gauges.
Below is the list of people who originally expressed interest.

Please advise whether your still in, and also state what kit you intend to order (eg: POD ONLY or POD+NSP GAUGE...etc), or just 'ORDERED' if you have already... This is just so SWG can estimate how many extra gauges to stock ready for when you place your order.

Also, please state whether your interested in the silver bezel ring that ollie mentioned (which may be at additional cost).

i have a defi blue racer fitted comes with a black or silver ring its a Stepping motor gauge so you only have to run a wire from under the bonnet and has its own diagnostics function if you have a problem also does a full test on start up vid of it working its i little dark
