Haha go on tom! Your 4motion will give you a nice head start!, I'm sure you'll end up making me regret not getting an .:R none the less!

I have no doubt you'll win but then, your power to weight is probably a nice bit more than mine. My car still sounds better and has nicer seats though

In all fairness though, the .:R isn't all about the power as you can easily get an ED30 quicker than one. It's more just for the overall package, after all - I bet an ED30 can't pull away as spin free as I can

like i said dude make your way to a show with a 1/4 mile strip or something and i'll be more than happy too, but im not going to travel miles to race another m3, if i want to do that i just take a 5 minute drive down the road...every tom dick & council house harry has one now because they are such a bargain (new age impreza anyone?)and its hardly like i havent found out the outcome by myself, i just find it funny how over impressed you are by it, im guessing you drive like a 1.4 polo or something so it seems so amazing to you (nothing wrong with that)...dont get me wrong an m3 is a nice car & i still plan on getting an m coupe (z4 variant) when i want to settle down a bit, but they really arent that amazing when it comes to performance, they are just another slightly over average sporty coupe...a good package...an r32 turbo on the other hand is something that is worth going on about!

I guess i probably would have thought the same of one when i was driving around in my 1.4 polo but i see things very differently in my current toy

P.S i'd have one in a second if they werent so common! but you really cant say 'why would people stick a 20vt in a polo for the same cost' as it all comes down to what you want from a car and both do a different job very well!

Pmsl a 1.4 polo! Er no not quite mate!
Cant be arsed (and im sure no one cares) but a small list of cars ive owned inc polo gti, escort cosworth (full blown rally car!) and cars ive driven well 430 spider, m3, old skool 911 turbo, sl 55, evos, lancia delta intergrally, skylines, supras and every vw made for the last 10 years!!! so i know a fast car!
Just like u said for the money u cant touch a m3 (your coment about the scooby thing was almost bang on (bar u not being able 2 get one for 3k yet!) for 10k what else can u get????
And the r32 are nice dont get me wrong but in my eyes are 2 expensive for what u get (wouldnt even beat a m3??) that would cost half the price!!!
Think some ppl need 2 take there vw blinkers off and realise that yes they make nice little cars but sadly havent made a proper weapon of a car since the mk1 gti , golf rally days (lupo gti came close!)

U need 2 rember 2 take this in the contex that it is ment mate as yes i still have my polo gti!
v f*****g w! lol
