Little update..

Car was put back on coilovers before going to the bodyshop. They said would be better to see how much room they had to play with.. Although my car looked slightly like a saxo at one point..




Put my new mirrors on before it went up too, 2x 6n2 Stubbies..



And this is how my car sits at the moment..





Had a delivery aswell.. yey



You may think they are exactly the same as the ones i sold, but thats cause they are hah. 15's not 16's this time tho. Stickers will be removed, lips re-polished and centres sprayed red (as originally planned)



Updates will be of the car in the body shop for the next few..

So.. Its been 5weeks give or take for the car to get re-painted.. To this point, its still not 100% finished.. But these are some images of the job up until the latest stage..




















Its taken a while.. but its so close at this stage.. Hope people like the jap spec 6n2 rear bumper. I now have a full 6n2 rear & interior convertion.

Next Update will be when the cars completely back together and back in my possession!

Got the car back on the road today!!

Chucked the rota's on too to make it look pretty, i have to say.. they are the deffo best suiting wheels i could have chosen, work so well..

Just need to get rid of all those horrible 'ghost' swirls from where it was flat & polished now.. gotta funny fealing it aint gunna happen from what ive been told..

Just needs a good clean inside and a few coats of wax and ill be happy and will be able to stop re-building it back to its old shape

looking brill mate the wheels set it off nicely , how low is ur car? Did you get a full respray? Maybe try machine polishing the car with a light resin polish should help to get rid of swirls etc but wouldnt do it for a few weeks till paint fully cured.

Don't let it fully cure, but tbh it's too late already if you have left it more than 2 days it will be super hard. Ya need to flat and polish as soon as you can like once cured flat and polish. Longer you leave it the harder it becomes....

Decent machine polish will solve your swirls.....

You cant see the bumper properly in the pics above.. i hate UK-Polo's, cuts half the picture off!!

Umm.. i havent done it by measurment fella, ive just lowered it until it sits pretty.. Yea mate full spray, and the swirls are reduced dramatically now.. 3 coats of wax ant they hardly noticable at all! So hopefully the more times i wax it the less they will show I wax the car everytime i wash it anyway so theres going to be plenty opertunity for shine <3

Next things to do.. clean the interior of all dust, put fogs back in, clean engine bay, re-wire mirrors, tweeters and stereo and then a few other little bits. Shall be back to normallity tomorrow i hope after getting the cars camber & tracking alignment sorted out once again..

Night Shot..



Dreaded MOT Day Took front & rear bumpers off so it could get onto the brake rollers, not having my fresh new bumpers smashing against the floor!




Now....................

Im f*****g gutted.. Its been home less than two weeks.. and well.. Ill let the picture do the talking..



New door needed :\ f*****g kid in a Nissan Navara reversed into it in a carpark, with a MASSIVE tow ball on the rear

So considering selling, nothing but s**t luck with this car!

Been to the bodyshop.. deffo replacement door and £400 labour to put it right... someones going to have a big bill!

Been there mate !. Someone hit and run my car at night smashed in my rear quarter !.

I tracked him down and f****d him right over, the result it looked better than it did before and I got smooth bumpers outa it !.

It's enough to make you wanna Get rid of it but persevere mate you love it more once it's all fixed, plus you haven't gotta foot the bill so it's all gravy

So an update..

The guy who hit me payed in cash in FULL the night after it happened - can't fault him!

Car went back up the bodyshop tuesday for prep. The imperfections I found in the paint are getting re-done at the same time.. Along with the front bumper being re-done also..

How the car was sitting there today..



Shop said it will be back late Saturday, meaning a night of getting the car prepped ready for Early Edition Sunday.
Ive had my full face bra through aswell to protect that sexy front from stonechips on the long motorway journeys to shows.

Little insite as to the updates that will be coming in the next month or so..
- I've bought some new pretties for the rear of the car, currently out for delivery..
- Shall be ordering some things for the interior too. JDM - all im saying
