Yeh the RX2's are 6J ET45 I think to save me hijacking your thread with pics look on mine for when I fitted the spacers cos I had the RX2's on and done before and after pics, bit dark but you can kinda notice it,
If your gonna keep the RX2's then you mite get 20mm spacers on ;-)

Don't blame you for not wanting to damage it so in the parcel shelf should be sweet :-)

Can monitor and log some pretty cool (read nerdy! 8) ) things.

Change wise you're limited to (I think!):
  • flashing indicators when un/locking
    beeps when /unlocking
changing alarm tone to 'EU' mode
might be able to control length of heated mirrors
    reset service indicator
I think that's pretty much it on the Polo though.

I've only got VCDS-Lite and a cheap 3rd party cable, so I could have missed some stuff.

Yeah, some of the statistics it logs are pretty impressive too! No idea it recorded so much info.

Will soon pay itself back in troubleshooting too - used it on my Polo and my Golf - would be around £90 at VW rates - cost me £20! :P

Sweet! yeah thats about what i paod too... had a lot of problems with my engine in the past and sometimes the engine light comes on so would be handy to be able to check what the hell it is instead of paying out loads!

Have you got the freeware version or did you buy a license? Otherwise a lot of the features above are not available.

That's all I've got. You can,t make changes with that one sadly, just log and read.

Still good for fault finding though.

POD - The Lovable GTi - CLUB STICKERS! Who's interested?

Post by KPerryGTi »

Right... I'm thinking of getting some stickers made up with the uk-polos.net logo and where I'm getting them the more you get the cheaper it is... You can have them to stick outside or inside and most colours are available they are 30cm long... Is anyone interested in this?
