Re: Ashcroft 6N2 GTI :- Typhoon Kit now fitted :-D

Post by Ashcroft »

This mornin I woke up and decided to finally fit my K&N Typhoon kit.
I been tryin to do it all week but as I finished work it got dark and started to rain, So needless to say I was happy to see it dry 2day :-)
Was a very simple task apart from relocating the horns was a bit tricky but got there in the end :-)

So here's a few pics...

Glad I went for the wrinkle red!
I just need to tidy up and do some painting to freshen up the bay :-)

Sat behind the fog grill nice and snug with lots of cold air ;-)

Really pleased with it! Its more responsive and sounds awesome :-p

The typhoon kit is epic, had mine on for a couple of days. Get it above 4.5rpm at full throttle and the noise is immense. You won't look back that's for sure!

I'm looking for a complete electric stubby mirror for my gti.

It doesn't need to be a specific colour as I'm thinking of painting it gloss black when I get my roof done.

Just has to be drivers side to match the stubby passenger mirror.

Anyone got 1 or know of anyone with 1?

Just £100 for mirror
And £25 for plastic housing
Is a bit much to go VW and would be my last option.

German ebay dude. Although remember they drive on the other side of the road.

So you would need there passenger side one.
