Hi Iichel,
Thanks for this input. Couple of questions.
1) Did you happen to make a wiring diagram for this?
2) I am getting a 90D BCM (pics attached) and there are some differences from your BCM pins (
viewtopic.php?f=56&t=69547&hilit=KESSY#p518793). I wanted to check if they would affect KESSY functionality. More so would you happen to know what would the highlighted pins which are different affect.
3) I have made a sheet to source the components. I have PMed the link to you. Let me know if any of the components need to bought new/used from existing car for compatibility. Or if they need to be older (manufacturing year issues).
4)Do the door handles need to be from a donor vehicle for fitment or electrical/ radio compatibility issues?
5) Now, the immo components (5K0905861C, 5K0959434E, 6RU920860D) I am still yet to find someone to do it. Could you tell me what tools you used for this? I am open to other options if there is someone you can put me in touch with.
Any other inputs are welcome and appreciated.
Pranay
Hi, Thanks for the connector feedback.
2) Any inputs on the BCM. Shall I go ahead and purchase this one? Do you see any issues?
3) What's your take on sourcing parts which need immo coding? Used / New?
4) Any input on door handles?
5) Any contact / tool suggestions for immo adaptation / coding?

2 I think the BCM 090 should be fine.
3 Immo: you need to find a used ELV (steering column lock) AND the cluster from the same car. find it on ebay or whatever.
4 Door handles: use the part number I gave you. you only need the front doors. rear doors are not necessary.
5 contact spacewalker from this forum. he did all the things for my immo adaptation.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the inputs! Wanted to check about where you mounted the KESSY module? Would you mind sharing a couple of pictures of KESSY module location, Start stop button location and antenna mounting and wire routing locations?

Hi Michel,
Also wanted to check which cluster you are currently using. Spoke to spacewalker and he mentioned it would be a good idea to check if the cluster supports ELV functionality.
Thanks
Pranay

My kessy module is above the glove box. I don't have any pictures of this retrofit, it was done in the late hours after work so I was not able to spend a lot of time documenting it.
The start button is here -->

Hey guys,
Found this harness for KESSY in a Passat B7. The vendors says it has all the below connector part numbers. Do you think this would work on a Polo 6R.
1J0972977D - 1 No.
1K0972928 - 1 No.
4B0972623 - 6 No.
8K0973702C - 1 No.
8K0973754 - 1 No.
4B0971832 - 1 No.
3C0973704 - 4 No.

Looks like some of the connectors should fit, i.e. for the Kessy module and for the door handles. But it's not certain whether the wiring is correctly placed or any other required connectors are present.

Hello iichel,
really nice work!
Currently I am also retrofitting kessy to my VW UP since 2013. I works just half cause of the immo in my ECU.

Maybe Spacewalker can help me? I cant contect him via forum, because I am to new in this forum. Hope he will see my Post.
My Problem is, that new Beetle with instrument cluster version 05xx uses new MQB Keys. Only this instrument cluster has the new Menu for Side Assist.
But I do not know if new MQB keys works with my ECU together.

Hey iichel,
I have the problem, that my kessy unit and ELV has no errors, but my car wont open and close via door handle. BCM is 7E0 937 090 A and Kessy is coded.
Do you have an Idea? Do you need more information?

An autoscan would be nice.

Maybe a Problem with BCM?
Or a Problem with adaptations.
I can not upload a scan. The Forum said this is spam. Maybe cause of german words inside.
I uploaded a compact picture. Maybe it helps.
