Cheers dude. It's great fun to drive

On standard internals I wouldn't do anything more than the k03's. At a push I would consider a hybrid but you would need a map that takes into account the stock internals therefore not using fully what you have paid your hard earned cash for.
What's the point of that?

Rods are a must then you can enjoy peace of mind whilst hot footing it around.

Just my views.

Well with the new found power and and struggling to lay down the power in 1st - 3rd gear because of my current drive train set up I decided it was time to change the wheels for something with a higher ET so I don't need to run camber to get the them to sit within the arches. Ideally I need to get some R888's but as I'll be putting the car up for sale soon I'll just transfer the tyres I'm currently using and see how I get on.

New wheels are home made 7.5x17 using BBS RX2 centres with BBS 041 baskets.

Going to test fit tomorrow to work out what size spacers I'll need.

Won't be to everyone's likening but I like them

Put all contents into a large mixing bowl, stir aggressively then place in oven on gas mark 6 until perfectly formed

Oh wow. Can't believe you took the time to find my build thread.
Thanks was nice to put the polo up against another fast car.
My only problem is traction but once I get up high in the gears it's game on

Got a few of my mates into the whole car thing :) usually about every weekend!

Got standard TD05, standard intercooler and injectors.

Will be getting 1000cc's and either a GT3076r or turbo technics S205b, should be hitting 500+ then with the correct mapping :)

So after 4 years of ownership and many changes I finally decided it was time to let her go.
I sold it yesterday to another enthusiast so there won't be anymore updates from me.

All the best with all your projects and thanks for the support on this project over the years.
