They do have their critics but overall they are an awesome car

The styling alone is enough to make anyone buy a GTI 8)

Just read up on that code and it means you need to put a 1.8t in it apparently....
Lol!

After a good vag com session you will be laughing..

Shhhssssss Chris the gaffer tape was supposed to be secret :lol:

He's only kidding Mandy but I did use no more nails to hold the engine mounts in place and cable ties to support the gearbox :lol:

Cable ties are essential for anything. If it doesn't move and it should wd40. If it moves and it shouldnt cable ties or gaffers tape!

sorry to hear about your crappy day the other day, least it should all be sorted soon :)
they like treating up mean these polo ;)

talking about zip ties
my mate brought a Barried up 6n polo
she loved it but it was a complete wreck! (eg.it had odd alloys - which she didnt notice until another mate pointed it out)
the exhaust was actually held on with zip ties!!! and the boot was smoothed. so you had to open it up by getting in the back seats and tugging on a zip tie
and there were some zip ties connecting the wiring for the headunit

Well i've just gad a nice lad from my local forum come round with his Vag Com and no errors!!!

Although he did set up my central locking so it now makes a cool beeping sound when i lock/unlock the car...... Simple things eh??!! Ha

Nice of him to come to my rescue, since i had never met him before! Nice to see fellow dubbers helping each other out :D

Still getting it checked over on sat just incase.....
