Chiming in here from Denmark.

Here the trim levels are called Trendline, Comfortline, Highline, R-Line and finally GTI.

Optional packages include, DK(DK short for Denmark)-pack, Technic-pack, Style pack, Roof pack.

Interestingly the packs themselves differ depending on which model you apply it to. Making it rather hard to find what kit is standard in what spec.

GTI has 4 colour options, red, white, blue and black. Interior color is either red or grey.

Afaik, Germany is the only market so far where the Manuel GTI is available.

'Czech republic had it also in manual, but according to the configuration it isn't an option now.

You are right. :) We were probably one of first if not the first market to offer manual GTI (configurator was offering it around june/july and it was possible to order at end of august). Even germany got it later :D I got some informations from one of employee from Czech importer. Looks like manual GTI will get rare very soon. From what I heard production of GTI with manual will end in second half of 2019. Also whole Polo production should move to South Africa. Only RHD polo are made in SA right now. (My GTI have code for Pamplona factory in Spain.) But VW did not say anything yet.

Ordered a manual GTI on the 05/4/2019 and still haven’t received a build date so I am unsure as to how long I will have to wait i live in Portugal.

Here according to the configurator it's an option manual GTI :D

As I said it is nothing official and might be some misinformation. We will see :-)

Being a bit contentious as I currently do not have the latest version but I would like to see the boot lid redesigned with rear lights similar to the golf with two parts - one part on the boot lid and the other in the rear wing. Currently think it is a bit bland. Now waiting for the flack!!

Just noticed today how stupidly small the rear indicator is on the normal Polo.

I find it refreshing when cars have overly large indicators these days (or, worse, ones that 'sweep' - oh god how I hate them... :( )
It's as big as it needs to be, especially when combined with wing mirror indicators.

Ha, you'd hate the beats then.
My wife always complains about the stereo when I come home late at night.
It's not like I have the windows down, but a thin layer of metal between the speakers and the outside world doesn't do much.
Stereos are of utmost importance to me in a car, so I don't want less.
It's one of the things I WOULDN'T change about my car 8)

I've never said I do like "beats" , a basic SE with a boom box. The times you see either in police cars or ambulances, trying to get to an emergency with sirens on and the car in front don't even know their there because they have the radio volume right up and cannot hear what's going on out side their own little bubble, the same with cyclists with ear phones in.

Try car drivers with earphones in, I see them all the time.

I often wonder (hope...) there's a law against earphones in cars, but I'm not sure.
No police to enforce it anyway.

Despite having one on order I tend to agree with you. Rear of car is bland. Tailgate needs redesigning.
When i first saw spy shots of it I thought what a crock of s***.
Then I go and order one. Go figure. [emoji2957]
