#BSD retrofit
Well, it looks like I have a few pieces, enough to slowly start wiring and installing.
Thanks to Ciclo (Fernando) i have new radars and the correct connectors for them, thank you Fernando, you are so kind.
I also have the brackets for those radars...
So it's time for me to start thinking about wiring and preparing the installation.
It will be a slow process, but there is a saying that says that the beginning is half of everything.
Stay tuned....

#BSD retrofit
I am keep thinking about the warning light for the BSD.
The OEM way is a light on the outside mirror cover.
I didn't find the type of the connector, this LED light has.

Any ideas ?

Great, thanks.
I didn't know the code for this connector.

It wasn't easy to find out (a couple of minutes thanks to the image posted on D2).
It's possible that generally only those who make the mirrors with BSD for the SK Octavia knew about it.

Yes indeed. And another think, just to make sure. The pins for the door connectors are 000979034E and 000979035E (actually those are the codes from the repair wires which have those pins).

Yes, those are the correct contact terminals.
They have several applications in the MQB.

In the images you posted it is not clear to me which wire (yellow or green) is for the right door and which is for the left door.

I made a mistake in the titles. Thank you for noticing. I changed the image so that no problems arise in the future.

I miss one more thing,
time. This is the most necessary "material" to start the installation. I need to find time and good weather of course.

It looks good.
The best days to do this work outdoors are the sunny days of the Mediterranean spring, although I prefer the sunny days of the Mediterranean winter.
The sunny days of the Mediterranean summer are not recommended, for my 6R I had to do it over several days, I didn't want it to explode by self-combustion.

Thanks,
the wheather those days at my place is terrible, a lot of rains and winds.
So i am spending some time planning the retrofit and checking details.
I have a question, maybe Fernando or someone else has the experience to answer.
This is a prt of the wiring schematic.
I notice that the ground wire of the LED lighting, the wiring shows it going through the door connector and ending up in the central ground somewhere inside the chassis.
And I wonder why this is happening. I have in mind to use whichever wire inside the door already goes to ground.
What do you think?
