Looks good,

Will the car be wrapped up for winter or used?

The first coat of Collinite has been applied. Gonna be removing it either Mon or Tues, and then get the second coat on - shes looking beautiful :)
How come your leaving it on that long? does it 'soak' in better? Bet it will be a real pain trying to remove it, proper elbow grease

It ensures the wax cures thoroughly on the paint. Was quite easy to get off - just used a decent microfibre cloth to buff it off. Its looking great with one coat so I may leave it at that as its really hard work all this waxing - so much to put on and remove lol!

Final pictures coming soon....watch this space :)

I seriously need to do my Fabia, it's close to been classed as a brown car. I have all the stuff to get it this shiny but it's the effort thats involved i don't like.
Wish somebody would do mine to the standard of yours. How long does it take to give it a full machine polish?

It depends on the level of correction needed. Mine needed a double pass on all the panels as the finish had really lost its shine - it takes a good few days to get it right, as its important you take your time.

cheers matey!

Nothing much new to report. Got a new heated washer jet for the GTI, as the one in there wasnt working properly for some odd reason. Apart from that, its all tucked up now till the spring arrives, so Ill spend a few days here and there just finishing off the interior and glass, wheels etc to get it show perfect!

Had a bit of a spontaneous moment earlier and put an offer in on a new auto antidazzle and rainsensor mirror on the bay :P (mines got just the antidazzle option), and it was accepted. So ill soon have full automatic wipers too...lets just hope replacing the mirror mount doesnt result in needing a whole new windscreen!!

oh its black too so looks even more swish :)
