between the various tests, in fact, I tried directly from the battery, but the result is not changed.
Today I would like to try to change the acc moving it like yourself.
Otherwise, the latest idea is to put a switch on the positive that "takes away" the current when they are closed by making them remain so.

To customize Audi R8 oil cap
To avoid oil cap is not aligned with respect to the engine, e.g. http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthrea ... 897&page=4
...and as in my little VW 1.2 TSI engine also happens, you may customize the oil cap this way: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.p ... of-the-cap
I have not needed a pencil to do this. In the upper portion of the cap there are already four marks for this modification.
Next pictures are no mine, only for explanation...
Once the work is done, the oil cap is perfectly aligned with the engine.
Pictures when possible. (next week )

A guy here in Denmark made a video how to do that a few years back... But I just can't seem to find it anyway...

Very good video.
Unfortunately for the 1.2 TSI is not so easy, is necessary to redo the four openings for retention tabs.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
could i bother you for *yet another* question?
i really like the lock/unlock botton in the passenger door and i'm thinking of giving the rosa-line the same update
i already tore up an old passenger-door wiring loom for the wires and connector (doesn't get more OEM, lol)
so i already have the wires and the switch.
so my question is about re-using several parts:
- can the driver-door lock switch be reused? it's the 6R1 962 125A but will have the RHD 6C face plate. the lower part seems symmetric, just switching the upside.
- can the door handle cover be re-used? it is the 6R0 867 172 F. it has a 6R0 and not a 6R1 (usually LHD) or 6R2 (usually RHD) type number so i guess it's universal
so basically i only need to order a 6R0867180, which has the hole for the switch and a 6C2962125 for the face plate

My dear friend iichel, you can ask to infinity and beyond.

Your curiosity got a good reward with the switch. Well done!

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
i think it's worth trying because of the price of the switches
the handle is 17 euros, the cover 10, the switch is 30 a piece. so the mod is either 57 or 87 euros. a big difference and well worth trying.

hello ciclo,
Yesterday I did a test by moving the mass from the zone behind the light switch the steering column. Now it seems to work and not reopen more

Excellent Andrea6r, thanks for commenting, I am glad for you.
Many times I see terminals with bad crimped in wirings aftermarket.
I recommend you this crimp tool easy to use and 100% effective.
