Yeah I'm just going to do other pipes and that and see if I really like it, once more pipes are done I think it will work...

Completely Camo Wrapped GTI would be immense!
Always had a sneaky plan for mine to get it done rather than a full respray, got quoted £1200 then my gearbox decided to give up lol

Yeah its a bit mental but it would get a lot of attention
Not sure on Vinyl wrapped cars though, they look good but I just dont see it lasting very long

Cant beat a proper paint job :)

Well iv been off all day and iv made more work for myself but it's not hard to make much lol...!

I never liked this part of my bay with the omp header tank bracket that just doesn't fit at all, so I did this.

Il make an aluminum tomorrow. And crinkle black it or Matt black... Unsure yet I could leave it brushed????

Should look good when you make it up mate, at first I thought you were just going to keep the card template there lol

I would do it crinkle red mate or wrap it in Camo :wink:

Ha, na it's gona be out of aluminum. Could camo wrap it perhaps I will see, il do it Matt black first of all..!

Yeah I thought it was meant to say that..... Ha, should look good once done, iv hated that part of the bay for ages.

Ideally I want to make covers for the whole bay, il do that in the warm weather I think...

what paint did you use on the inlet manifold mate? Is it a special heat resistant paint/coating?

It's high temperature exhaust paint mate, easily deals with the temperatures and goes a nice satin/Matt finish.....

I also finished my aliminium bracket cover today and I gave it a coat of wrinkle finish.

And I got loadsa goodies turn up when I was at work sister picked them up from vw.
Although my mirror glass I ordered is the wrong size and I'm missing 3 bolts from the top mounts aswell so she's going back tomorrow.
