Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
how did you do the footrest and the bonnet lever cover?
put it into the gti golf 7 footrest 'canal' at the side or how do you place those two?
if i do it in the canal in the footrest with the edge of the side cover, it is in completely twisted

Logically it is not plug and play, you must to shape the trim (cover) so that everything fits well.
At first it is not a perfect fit, but over time (patience) the cover is taking the right way.
Currently my trim fits perfectly and I am very glad I made this mod.

The two current flows for climatronic in both diagrams are practically equal. Perfect for your intentions.diskoboy wrote:Check your e-mail. 2 PDF files is on the way...ciclo wrote:diskoboy, you're right, but what I meant is that it is not as easy as in the Golf VI:
The problem is that the PDF file that you say it is from the Polo 6C, it is not, New Polo 621 is the same (similar) as 6R1 but for another country.

You can check this on the bottom right of each diagram, for example:

Polo 6C is 6C1.
diskoboy, try again but this time with the correct diagrams ... I'm happy to help you.
Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
mine looks a bit like this

so the cover goes in the canal in the footrest
and then the both pins, click them in (so under the lever and also at the bottom/front corner the pin goes click in)?
and then simply wait for them to take the good shape

Just bought a 6C climatronic control unit. Hopefully it arrives within 4-5 days. Let's see if it worksciclo wrote:The two current flows for climatronic in both diagrams are practically equal. diskoboy, remember you have to check the current flow diagrams before making any modification to the original wiring.

Perfect. I'll allready have the connectors - the red one is the same and the new 1k0972928 I have from an Passat - same connector used in the ignition/starter switchciclo wrote:diskoboy, remember you have to check the current flow diagrams before making any modification to the original wiring.

All of the pins in the 16-pin-connector are the same in Polo year 2011 (6R) and 2016 (6C)diskoboy wrote:Perfect. Did this mod but the strut which is the same as in the PDF and video, will not compress. not sure if anything had to be done, but I've inquired about it with the guy I bought it of. Any problem you know of?ciclo wrote:New Mod

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Hey ciclo,
I got a set of chrome electric window switches which I'm about to install. I saw you suggested removing the entire door panel to avoid breaking the trim around the switches. I looked at the instructions on how to remove door panels, but I thought I'd also ask you if you have any tips to make it easier? I haven't done it on the Polo, but on other cars the clips usually are very tight and something usually breaks when trying to remove the door panels.

There are no known problems with these gas struts, try another.beatty599 wrote: Did this mod but the strut which is the same as in the PDF and video, will not compress. not sure if anything had to be done, but I've inquired about it with the guy I bought it of. Any problem you know of?
