Air-bag Light on

Yesterday I disconected the gauges panel of my polo to install tacho-rings but I forgot to disconect the battery first. So now I have an indicating lamp for the air-bag. Is there a way of reseting this? I disconnected the battery for over 2 hours but still the same...

Hi,
My boyfriend's told me that you need to have the air bag system reset by VAGCOM or by the dealer.

Hi scattycat1, I forgot to mention, I yesterday reset the error with vagcom's help. Nothing else could be done. Thanx anyway!
