i recentley changed my H7 bulbs and sidelights (to white led ones and they are so much better than those "boy racer" blue things form halfords) anyway.... you do not need to remove the battery to replace the lights!!! i am living proof of this!! ok remove the black cover by un-doing the metal clip on the black plastic cover (you cant miss it) be gentle with it and it is very easy to remove. the black cover is attached at the outside edge of the car by 2 plastic tabs that look fragile, slide the black cover to the middle of the car to remove it and the light fittins are all there. when replacing the black cover remember to check both tabs are in the holes required or the cover isnt on properly you can look at these holes on both sides, i hope i have been of some help.... no need to remove the battery honest!

thats just how i would have described it, though i might add if you have slightly bigger hands it can get abit tricky near the battery

ok i agree it does get tricky around the battery but im lazy! when i fitted my hid kit i just removed the front bumper as this only takes a few mins and then you can fully remove the whole light and fit the kit on my kitchen table lol

Since wen do u have to turn off battery to fit bulbs??
i changed all mine without even knowin i was meant to turn off battery and mine work fine.

U dont have to turn the battery off and u dont have to remove it. its deisgned to be changed at the side of the road. If you blew bulb at the road side ur gonna remove ur battery to change a bulb? i think not lmao!

who said you need to disconnect the battery?
