I've had enough - I'm throwing my toys out the pram

Sick of it breaking, so I'm going to get rid.. Finally had my insurance work done so that's not an issue, just trying to work out the logistics of selling mine privately and getting my Mk1 Golf..
The final straw is the clutch cable going again, and having to drive about 10 miles to get home tonight with no clutch (I've had the recall done)
I'm really annoyed that the car's been so much hastle because when it's working I absolutely love it and i'll be sorry to see it go, but I just can't be doing with not being able to trust it anymore. So it's old school here we come - at least then I'll have an excuse if (when) it breaks down, being nearly a quarter of a centuary old!
P.S. I'll give everyone a heads up when it goes on Autotrader .. Should be June if all goes to plan!
