Instrument panel

Hello, i tried to install some chrome rings on my instument panel but i screwed it all.I think i loose the wire that connects with the panel and the airbag and brake lights are showned in the panel. the wire is not completely loose but is making a bad connection with the panel. I took the car to a dealer to see and to clear the lights, but he said that if this doesn´t solve the problem they have to change the conection to the panel, or if the problem is in the panel i have to install a nem one. To conclude i´m really F.....!!!!!!!
