ARB bushes

I'm trying to change the anti roll bar bushes at the end of the bar, the ones in the TCA's, but I can't work out how to remove the old ones or how I would fit the new ones once I got there.. I'm sure it's possible without replacing the entire arm, not only because GSF sold me a pair of bushes but also because polyflex sell performance replacements that I think a few people here have fitted. So, can anyone enlighten me?

you probably have to use a press. GSF sell brand new track control arms for about £16 + vat each. Might be a little pricey for some but they come with new bushes and everything already.

Bit of a pain really.. not only is my nearest branch of GSF a 45 minute drive away, but until I get my suspension back together I've got nothing to do the drive in.. plus I've already spent a tenner on a pair of bushes and I don't much fancy spending £32 on a pair of TCA's on top of that when the current bushes aren't yet absolutely unservicable.. I guess I'll leave it for now if it comes to that. They can be replaced once they've completely disintegrated...

when i replaced my ARB bushes on my car to POWERFLEX bushes i just cut out the bush and wacked it out with a hammer.
another tech idea i used was cut it until you can cut no more and put a bolt into it and lever against something so it pulls the bush out.
you can also use if you have a VICE and a jubilee and a tri-puller, which i used on a rocco bush i had to do to a mates car,.
if you putting basic bushes in, GOOD LUCK, i dont that about 4yrs ago and it took me 4hrs to get 1 side sorted, while using fairy liquid to help slide it in.
i hope this helps you bud.

the powerflex ones come in 2 halves so they're easy to put in.
but removing the old ones is a right pain in the arse. It took me ages, cutting away at the bush then pressing it out using a vice & a couple of suitable size sockets.
If you're just replacing with new standard bushes I'd just buy new TCAs from GSF, you get new ball joints as well then. They're less than a tenner each arent they? (for non-g40 ones).

Ah, well never mind, sounds too much of a pain in the arse to bother with right now. I'll put it on hold until they're really knackered
