There's been a Lupo GTI since last thursday at my local dealer with an 05 plate on.
Sadly i'm getting a 54, however doesn't really matter when you have a private plate.

I saw three new Monaros being delivered to my local Vauxhall dealer this morning. Not quite the same thing, but they didn't half look the business. They even had a whole transporter to themselves.

Cool, I saw a monaro pickup yesterday. It must be an import cos i dont think they sell em in this country.
The best experience I have was in my cousin's 1970's Holden Monaro in Oz a couple of years ago. 6.something litres of pure muscle car

. It was like something of the fast and the furious with the mustangs they had on it.

Would be a Commodore

(?)
Any how my Aunt had one of the slightly older than the current shape Commodore GTS's, that went some alright.
The Ford Falcon is another good one, though it did go through its ugly stage. Not sure it's still called the Falcon either, haven't been to NZ for a few years

Saw three! yesterday on the wee road down to my underground station. Corsa, 3 Touring and... something else. Really surprised to see them all parked there considering there were only say... 30 cars parked on the road.
